I honestly couldn't care less about people clearing DOA or Duncan in 15 minutes, as long as it doesn't affect my play style, Anet differs.

my only issue with the speed clears you mention is that it drives the market price of elite pve items down so then everyone and their grandma has them which is ridiculous IMO.

The reason all the assholes wanted these nerfs in the first place.

Couldn't be bothered less about a bunch of nerds and their e-peen issues, if anyone was carrying around an eternal blade I'd be happy for them, my game experience is not affected.

For all the bitching that peopel have been doing in the last few weeks, this pretty much shows you why you need to wait to see what they are doing before freaking out.

Ah, that's a shame.
Splinter Weapon, Rupture Soul, Signet of Spirits, Feast of Souls, Explosive Growth, Spirit Boon, Spirit's Gift. 14 Spawning Power, 13 Channeling. Fun while it lasts.

Also does it look like to anyone else that we might be able to bring back the old ritual lord build? Havnt looked at the details to much but it looks possible

This is one fo the best buffs I've seen ANet do. Whilst MB and SF are still at large adn causing havoc, CoP and ROJ have been nerfed. It's slightly sad to the only viable Smiting elite gone but at least JQ will see some variety now. I love the Ritualist buffs, they are finally viable for PvE, although I think the Spawning Power buff is a weird way of fixing it, it is a good way. Sad to see Ether Prism go as well.
I don't understand the Paragon buffs tbh, they're still pretty useless. Who wouldn't still run an Imbagon in PvE? Help Me! was a useless update tbh.
But overall, thankyou Anet.

To my surprise, Armor of Unfeeling works with spirits like union and shelter (so sayeth the wiki, haven't tested it yet) so it'll be something like the 3 spirits, Boon of Creation (might be optional), Assassin's Promise, Armor of Unfeeling and some pve skills.

Now if only shelter, union, displacement worked on spirits as well and lost less hp per hit, they'd be useful.

So , um what am I supposed to do with my mesmer? We were just getting accepted into pugs and this happens. Well, I postponed playing my rit for a long time, I can give it a go now.

I'm sorry but I don't see how heroes and NPCs scattering from RoJ constitutes a nerf. I mean people are talking about what build to use for FOWSC now? Why?? It hasn't changed that way, people!

But wait... wouldn't that cause a chain reaction where the spirit would keep sacrificing it's own health (albeit, less and less) until the sac is reduced to zero?
Bah, this is as good as we're going to get I think so I'm happy.
P.S. Free internets(!) to whoever can do a "by the numbers" comparison of this current rit lord setup to the Imbagon in terms of protection.

COP is still usable, anyway you could start using fragility wich is pretty good as an aoe nuke and on top of that works wonders with ROJ.
Add to this Shared burden wich is in the same line and is a decent snare.
Two ROJ monk + 1 fragility spiker with shared burden as a snare.
With 14 in Communing and 14 in Spawning Union will have 421 hp
the spirit looses 15 hp everytime it reduces damage therefore will protect a single person from 28 hits. Double the amount with armor of unfeeling, that's roughly 56 hits.
Shelter has 421 hp (14 communing 14 in spawning) it looses 47 hp per hit, therefore it protects form 9 hits, 18 with armor of unfeeling.
If you cast Shelter first and then Union, the spirits will work together.
Guy A has 500 hp, it's hit by lighting orb, Shelter reduces the damage to 50 and union absorbs 15hp, 35 damage dealt in total.
Now given the numbers, the energy cost, the recharge, the fact they are spirits, also taking into account HM foes attack speed, these spirits are going to last 4-5 seconds at best (depends from how many people are attacked at once) Imbagon wins hands down.
